DeVernie Winston
Executive
Director
DeVernie Winston, Executive Director of the WPrestige Basketball Academy, has been a player, coach and educator for
over 15 years. He has been instrumental in the development of youth, collegiate and professional athletes along the
East Coast and in Canada.
In 2018, as the Head Coach, he led the Hostos College Women's Basketball team
to the school's first National Championship (NJCAA D3).
Coach Winston founded the Lady Prestige Basketball Academy to offer parents and young women a nurturing environment in
which to spend time together, play and grow as individuals.

Jose Flores
Director of Player Development
Jose Flores is the Coach for the Lady Prestige 13U girls team. He is also the Director of Training Development of Lady Prestige.
He brings a plethora of experience in basketball, leadership and empowerment.
Coach Jose is a firm believer in player and skill development. He is also a well known and respected AAU coach/basketball trainer.
He is the Founder of ‘PUTINTHEWORK’ Basketball Training. Coach Jose loves being in the gym and providing opportunities for young student-athletes to develop and grow in all facets of the game.

Alisha Haniff
Administrative Director
Alisa Haniff is the Administrative Director of WPrestige.
She is passionate in leading young female athletes, coaches and families, from the administrative side of the program.
Alisa is responsible for the program budget, scheduling games/practices and academics.
Even though we are a basketball sports program, we also focus on academics. Alisa reviews to make sure our athletes are keeping up with their school work, by reviewing their report cards and progress reports every quarter. All of our players have to be academically eligible in order to play. Our goal at Lady Prestige is to prepare our young athletes for the future.

Dominique Winstead
Associate Executive Director
Dominique Winstead, Associate Executive Director of WPrestige has been with the organization since May 2019. She is responsible for the day to day operations and the strategic planning of the organization. Ms. Winstead has been a played collegiate basketball at Northampton Community College. She graduated from Temple University with her B.S in Kinesiology and holds a M.S.Ed from Lehman College. Dominique brings a wealth of knowledge to this organization working many years in youth development. Currently she is the Associate Head Women's Basketball Coach at Hostos Community College.
